Recently, I was very sad to find that two of my make up staples ran out. Whilst it was a depressing moment I decided to share these empties with you because they are two products I swear by.

Now, I have incredibly dry skin so I rarely get spots. But when I do, man do they hit hard. I have had a recurring spot on my chin for a couple of months now. It seems to peer out when I'm stressed or really DON'T need a spot on my chin. However, I have discovered a miracle concealer!! Hallelujah!

I don't know about you but today I have certainly begun to feel the Autumn chill. Personally, I love Autumn. I love everything about it. And I have discovered a candle that is absolutely perfect to burn on a cold, autumnal morning. Yankee Candle Cinnamon Stick has become one of my favourite candles ever. It has such a gorgeous smell. It reminds me of all things Autumn. Also, the cinnamon really reminds me of Christmas. It is such a cosy candle and definitely adds warmth to a room. 

What is your favourite candle to burn on a cold Sunday afternoon? 

Step Three: Take your dark blue and apply it at the corner of your lid and a little along the bottom of your eye lid. I didn't apply too much dark blue in fear of looking like I was emerging from a fight with a black eye. So firstly, I added a little and blended it with the lilac shadow to create a lovely purple shade and then just continued to apply it till I was happy with the colour. The dark blue I used was again from Estee Lauder's Deluxe Eye Shadow Compact (this is such a great palette it has so many amazing colours). I used Nocturnal Blue 68 in Satin. 

Step Four: Take your black eye liner and apply a thin layer just underneath your eye lashes. If you want you could add a bit to your lid if you were going for a more evening appropriate look. My black eye liner is a crayon by Lancome it is Le Crayon Khol in Noir. Then take Benefit's Eye Bright and applied it just around the edges of my tear duct. This is great because it brightens your eye and gives your eyes a more feline shape. 

Step Five: No look is complete without mascara. I am currently loving Rimmel's Scandal Eyes in 003 Extreme Black. Don't be put off by the tacky packaging it's a great product.

When I say I have found a miracle spot remover, I am not exaggerating. This little tiny tube works wonders. I usually have very dry skin. However, over summer Mount Everest decided to move to my chin. It was mortifying. This wasn't just a spot. It was one of those spots where you contemplate wearing a scarf in 25 degree heat to cover it up. Okay you probably get it, it was big. In a desperate bid to remove Everest from my chin I purchased Origins Super Spot Remover. It seems a little pricey for the size of the bottle. It was £15 when I bought it. But, I have just checked John Lewis's website and they're selling it for £12.15. So if you want it now is the time to grab it! As I was saying, it is only a very small tube. However, I can assure you it is completely worth it. 

As the nights get darker and the leaves start falling many of us return to school, college, university etc and begin a new school year. For many, this is a time of stress and depression. But, in the midst of all the school worries are the joys of new stationary. Now I am a total stationary nerd. I'm not even afraid to say it. I love stationary.

Here is a mini stationary haul with just a few bits and pieces I picked up the other day! 

Firstly, I got these adorable sticky tags. They're the perfect way to make your diary or revision notes that bit cuter. I just thought they were absolutely adorable. I intend on covering my diary with them. Plus, they were at bargain at just £2 from Hobby Craft.

I haven't posted for the last week as I was soaking up the sun on holiday. Speaking of holidays, even with my red hair I get a small tan/summer glow. And because of this that I usually change up my make up base. 

This year I have opted for No. 7's Dual Protection Tinted Moisturiser. This is the older version of the product I believe and there newest version is actually Triple Protection at just £12. A very reasonable price for a brilliant product. 

This is perfect for the summer because it moisturises your skin which is essential in the summer if you want to maintain your tan. It also creates a lovely summer glow. For me it makes my skin just that little bit darker, giving the affect of a fresh tan. It's not too thick so it's brilliant to wear in hot weather. You don't feel as though your skin is covered in make up. It is incredibly reasonably priced and the tube lasts a long time. A summer base I would definitely recommend!

Estee Lauder Pure Colour in A13, Le Smoking

This is a beautiful red nail varnish. It's not too dark which makes it such a lovely summer colour. It doesn't chip easily and applies nicely. One coat does the trick with this varnish. It is also absolutely ideal for summer because of it's small, compact size. It's about the size of my pinky finger! Perfect for popping into your suitcase. Especially if, like me, you struggle to pack anything less than the entire contents of your bedroom.
